Limited Lifetime Warranty

Contact Email: [email protected]LIMITED LIFETIME STRUCTURAL WORKMANSHIP WARRANTYDeck Dudez warrants that the structural workmanship performed by Deck Dudez will be free from defects in installation for as long as the original purchaser owns and resides at the property where the work was originally installed, subject to the terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions contained herein.This warranty applies solely to defects resulting directly from Deck Dudez's installation workmanship and does not apply to materials, products, or components covered by manufacturer warranties. All material warranties are provided solely by the applicable manufacturer and are subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions.COVERED WORKMANSHIPThis warranty covers structural workmanship defects in the installation of:• Deck framing installed by Deck Dudez
• Structural connections installed by Deck Dudez
• Stair framing installed by Deck Dudez
• Guardrail and handrail structural attachment installed by Deck Dudez
• Footings installed by Deck Dudez
• Ledger board attachment installed by Deck DudezA workmanship defect is defined as a failure resulting directly from improper installation by Deck Dudez and not from material failure, normal aging, environmental conditions, structural movement, misuse, lack of maintenance, or any other cause outside Deck Dudez's control.OWNER RESPONSIBILITIESAs a condition of this warranty, the Owner shall:• Properly maintain the deck and all related structures
• Follow all maintenance recommendations provided by Deck Dudez and applicable manufacturers
• Promptly address drainage, moisture, or structural issues unrelated to Deck Dudez's workmanship
• Notify Deck Dudez in writing within thirty (30) days of discovering any claimed workmanship defectThe Owner shall provide Deck Dudez a reasonable opportunity to inspect and repair any claimed defect before repairs are performed by others.EXCLUSIONSThis warranty does not cover:• Normal wear and tear
• Natural weathering
• Color fading
• Wood checking
• Wood splitting
• Wood shrinkage or expansion
• Surface cracks or cosmetic imperfections
• Manufacturer defects
• Product recalls
• Improper maintenance
• Abuse, misuse, neglect, or vandalism
• Fire, flood, wind, hail, tornadoes, lightning, earthquakes, or other acts of God
• Standing water, drainage issues, roof runoff, gutter discharge, irrigation systems, or moisture-related conditions
• Insect, animal, rodent, or pest damage
• Soil settlement, heaving, erosion, frost movement, shifting soils, or movement of existing structures
• Damage caused by trees, roots, falling limbs, vehicles, equipment, or third parties
• Modifications, repairs, additions, or alterations performed by anyone other than Deck Dudez
• Damage resulting from circumstances beyond Deck Dudez's reasonable controlNON-STRUCTURAL ITEMSUnless otherwise stated in writing, this warranty does not cover cosmetic concerns, squeaks, seasonal movement of materials, minor board cupping, natural wood characteristics, finish deterioration, staining, sealing, paint failure, caulking, trim, lighting, accessories, landscaping disturbance, or other non-structural conditions.LIMITATION OF REMEDYDeck Dudez's sole obligation under this warranty shall be, at its sole discretion, to inspect, repair, replace, or otherwise correct any covered workmanship defect.Deck Dudez shall determine the appropriate method of correction.Deck Dudez's total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original labor amount paid to Deck Dudez for the affected portion of the project.No cash refunds shall be required under this warranty.NON-TRANSFERABILITYThis warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser at the original installation address.LIMITATION OF LIABILITYTo the maximum extent permitted by law, Deck Dudez shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, indirect, punitive, special, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of enjoyment, loss of property value, temporary housing costs, lost profits, or other economic losses.MISSOURI LAWThis warranty shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Missouri.Any dispute arising under this warranty shall be brought exclusively in the appropriate court located within the State of Missouri.ENTIRE WARRANTYThis document constitutes the entire workmanship warranty provided by Deck Dudez unless otherwise stated in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Deck Dudez.
